Health Technologies

Health Science Technology students will participate in a 75-hour State of Ohio approved Training and Competency Evaluation Program for Nursing Aide (STNA).  Topics covered during this program are Nurse Assisting, Dental Assisting, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Veterinary Assisting, Medical Assisting, American Heart BLS/First Aid/CPR, Skills USA Professional Development Program, Medical Terminology, Nutrition, Legal/Ethical Issues in Healthcare.

As students progress in their program they may be eligible to take part in our robust work placement program. While on work placement, students are employed at local healthcare facilities and obtain skills while working alongside professionals in the industry.  

College Credit: 

  • Earn up to 25 college credits at North Central State College!
